The ECOSHIFT Solution
ECOSHIFT tackles the critical challenges facing the cocoa industry with a tech-based approach that tracks and verifies the supply chain from the farmer to the consumer. Using advanced satellite technology and blockchain, ECOSHIFT ensures that each partner farm complies with European Union Deforestation Regulations (EUDR) and that the cocoa is not sourced from illegally deforested land. This transparent process allows all participants in the supply chain to securely and reliably share data.
Introducing the "SustainaBar"
The "SustainaBar", a 77% dark chocolate bar, is the culmination of the collaboration between ECOSHIFT, PRIDI Cacaofevier, and Boo Chocolate. Made with traced cacao from Boo’s single estate farm and organic Wangkanai unrefined cane sugar, the SustainaBar promises a nutty, milky, and creamy flavour profile that’s easy to love and impossible to forget. This is what sustainability tastes like.
Founded by Daniel Bucher, PRIDI Cacaofevier is dedicated to sustainability and quality. Daniel sources cocoa beans from Boo’s farm in northern Thailand and has partnered with ECOSHIFT to ensure complete transparency and traceability. The SustainaBar is the first product in Thailand to use ECOSHIFT’s tech stack, offering consumers ethically sourced chocolate that sets a new standard for the industry.
Established in 2018 by Jittranuch “Boo” Bhumirat, Boo Chocolate operates a single estate cacao farm in the scenic hills of Chiang Rai Province. Boo’s commitment to producing premium cocoa is reflected in her meticulous cultivation practices and on-site fermentation and drying processes. Boo Chocolate also empowers local farmers through educational courses and celebrates Thai cocoa’s heritage with the “Happiness Footprint” initiative.
