Through the Thai Trade Association of Cacao & Chocolate (TACCO), ECOSHIFT met with Ma’am, founder of Taluang Cocoa and her network of smallholder farmers to structure this first traceable Nakhon Si Thammarat lot.
Farm mapping for EUDR compliance, field data collection and post-harvest alignment helped build the basis for a more consistent and identifiable cocoa supply.
Grown in mineral-rich red soils under a humid tropical climate, this cocoa develops a grounded profile shaped by steady rainfall and diversified agroforestry systems.
The lot also reflects the progress of a young but highly committed local ecosystem, where quality control, coordination and farmer engagement are improving fast.
This first export remains a logistical challenge — but the lot is now on its way and will soon be distributed by Silva Cacao.
First ECOSHIFT export - March 2026
A first shipment built directly with smallholder farmers in Southern Thailand, connecting origin to European chocolate makers through a fully traceable supply chain.
