EUDR Implementation in Practice
ECOSHIFT has applied these processes within smallholder cocoa supply chains in Thailand, connecting first-mile realities with downstream EUDR requirements.
Our work has included coordinating farmer and farm data collection, GPS coordinates and plot polygons, structuring and converting geolocation data into GeoJSON, linking origin information with traceability records, and preparing data for deforestation-risk assessment and due diligence workflows.
This hands-on experience allows us to identify not only what information is required, but where data gaps and operational bottlenecks actually occur between farms, suppliers, exporters and buyers.
